{"id":210,"date":"2024-11-29T15:47:12","date_gmt":"2024-11-29T15:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manifestsouthwest.co.uk\/?page_id=210"},"modified":"2024-11-30T13:13:11","modified_gmt":"2024-11-30T13:13:11","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manifestsouthwest.co.uk\/?page_id=210","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Manifest is a celebration of being male, nature &amp; freedom; it encourages you to let go, share your heart, have a damn good laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1995 men of all ages have gathered on the ancient wild landscape of Dartmoor, where we jointly create a completely unique space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The camp is held in the heart of Dartmoor and is comprised of two main \u2018spaces\u2019, either side of a bubbling, magical brook. With soft grasses, ancient trees, flowing water, fresh air and empty skies, it is the perfect environment to celebrate beauty, abundance and life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Manifest everyone gets a say in how the camp is run. Once we have all arrived the camp runs on the principles of \u2018Open Space\u2019, where each participant has a chance of asking for what they want. In the opening circle you can offer ideas for activities such as football, archery, a walk on the moors and singing, or for discussions and sharing about specific issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrival at camp from 4pm on Wednesday with soup at 7pm and an opening circle at 8pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday morning the camp creates itself, drawing on everyone\u2019s inspiration, ideas and desires to form a tapestry of events, themes, offerings, games and challenges \u2026 and so another unique Manifest is born\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Please Bring:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Food to share for four days<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shelter\/tent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sleeping bag\/bedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Camping Chair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waterproofs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wellies\/boots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Warm clothing and spare clothes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swimming gear and towel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lanterns\/torches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eating utensils<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insect repellent and sun protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Firewood, drinking water, cooking equipment and first aid will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manifest is a celebration of being male, nature &amp;
